Women’s Basketball Returns to CACC Play with Two Games This Week

The Week Ahead
The Caldwell University women's basketball team looks to remain unbeaten in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play as they play a pair of games this week. The Cougars will travel to Nyack College on Wednesday Dec 2 at 5:30 pm and wrap up the week on Saturday Dec 5 for a road contest against Dominican College at 1:00 pm.

Scouting the Cougars
The Cougars enter the week with an overall record of 3-3 and 1-0 in the CACC. Senior Nicole Angelo (Mount Laurel, NJ) leads the team in scoring with 16.5 points scored and 21 triples.  Angelo enters the week shooting .512% from three-point range. Sophomore Kristen Drogsler (Middle Village, NY) is averaging 13.8 points per game and 5.5 rebounds on the season. Sophomore Karlie O'Driscoll (Sharon, MA) enters the week averaging 12.2 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds this season.
 
Scouting the Warriors
The Warriors enter the week with a record of 3-3 and 1-0 in the CACC. The Warriors open up a four game home stand against Caldwell this week. Jamie McKeither leads the team with 14.7 points per game average and 10 rebounds per game. Raven Makins enters the week with 12.6 points per game average and is shooting 45.5% from the field. Makins also leads the team in rebounding as she is averaging eight per contest.
 
Scouting the Chargers
The Chargers enter the week with a record of 3-3 and 2-0 in the CACC. Lisa Bouffard leads the team with 15 points per game, while shooting 59.4% from the field. Deja Gabbidon enters the week with 13.2 points per game and is shooting 41.9% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range. Gabbidon also leads the team with 10.3 rebounds per game.
 
CACC Round Up
Nicole Angelo is ranked fourth in the conference in points per game with an average of 16.5, ranked seventh in the conference in shooting with a percentage of 46.6%, ranked second in the conference in three-point shooting with a percentage of 51.2%, and ranked 5th in the conference in points scored with 99. Kristen Drogsler is ranked 14th in the conference in points per game with an average of 13.8, ranked seventh in the conference in shooting with a percentage of 46.6%, and ranked number one in the conference in three-point shooting with a percentage of 52.6%. Karlie O'Driscoll is tied for 13th in the conference in total rebounds with 41.
 
Next Up for the Cougars
The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday Dec 8 when they travel to Post University to continue the conference schedule at 5:30 pm.
