The Week AheadThe Caldwell University men's basketball team looks to continue their strong start on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play with a pair of games this week. The Cougars open the week when they travel to Nyack College for their second conference game of the season on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 pm. Caldwell concludes the week when they travel to Dominican College for a conference match up on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 3:00 pm.

Dawan Lighty (Paterson, NJ) scored his 1,000
th career point in the Concordia victory and leads the team with 18.7 points and a team-high triples. Senior
Billy McDonald (North Haven, CT) is second in scoring with 13 points per game along with 3.8 rebounds. Senior
Brian Kenny (Howell, NJ) is third in scoring with 10 points per game along with a team-high 5.5 boards per contest.
Scouting the Warriors The Warriors enter the week with an overall record of 2-3 and 0-1 in the CACC. The Warriors fell in the conference opener last week to Post University. Imran Ritchie leads the team in scoring with 13 points per game. Ritchie enters the week shooting 47.1% from the field and 39.1% from three-point range. Freshman Shawn Witherspoon leads the Warriors with 5.8 rebounds per game and is shooting 50.0% from the field.
Scouting the Chargers The Chargers enter the week with a record of 1-5 on the season and 1-1 CACC play. Dominican lost their most recent CACC game to Felician University last Tuesday night. Gerrel Irvin leads with 11 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. Will Wise leads the team in shooting percentage with a percentage of 62.5%, while Avery Walker enters the week with a shooting percentage of 60.0%.
CACC Round UpDawan Lighty is ranked sixth in the conference in point per game with an average of 18.4. Lighty is also ranked 14
th in the conference in points scored with a total of 92 in five games played. Lighty is ranked 18
th in the conference in three-point shooting percentage with a percentage of 38.7%. Reigning CACC Rookie of the Week
Ahmad Harrison (Newark, NJ) is tied for fourth in the CACC in steals with two swipes per contest.
