Scouting the Cougars
The Cougars enter the week with a record of 4-6-1 (4-1-1 CACC). Last week, the Cougars split two road conference games. The first was against Concordia College with a win by a score of 3-1 and the second game they dropped to Wilmington University by a score of 1-0. The Cougars are led by Kelly Folk (Jackson, NJ) and Emily Valerian (Roseland, NJ) in goals with three goals scored each. Mary Kanzler (East Northport, NY), enters the week a goals against average of 1.30 and has recorded 55 saves and has posted three shutouts throughout the season.

Scouting the Lions
The Lions enter the week with a record of 8-1-1 (6-0-0 CACC). The Lions defeated Holy Family University by a score of 2-1 last Tuesday. The Lions also played Queens College last week and tied by a score of 1-1 in double overtime and defeated Felician College by a score of 3-1. Lizzy Kroon is ranked number one in the conference for goals, assists, points, and shots. Kroon has recorded 11 goals, five assists, 27 points, and has taken 51 shots in 10 games played. Goalkeeper Casey O'Connor is ranked number one in the conference in goals against average and save percentage with a goals against average of 0.49 and a save percentage of .875. O'Connor is aslo tied for first place in goals against with five.

CACC Roundup
Mary Kanzler is ranked in the top five in the conference for saves, save percentage, and goals against average. Kanzler is ranked third for saves in the conference with 55 saves. She is also ranked fifth in the conference in save percentage with a percentage of .786. Kanzler also has a goals against average of 1.30 which puts her fourth overall in the conference among goalkeepers.

The Cougars will continue their three game home stand with another conference game against Bloomfield College on Tuesday Oct 13 at 3:30 pm.
