Box Score LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Caldwell College women's lacrosse team lost to Georgian Court University, 20-2 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game Tuesday afternoon at Georgian Court. The Cougars fall to 0-7 overall and in the conference, while the Lions improve to 10-3, 8-1 CACC.
Georgian Court took control of the game in the first half, scoring 12 goals before freshman
Courtney Donlon (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) tallied Caldwell's first goal 22 seconds before halftime. Freshman
Amy Hudak (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) scored the Cougars' other goal early in the second half on a free position.
Donlon also recorded three ground balls and three draw controls, while freshman
Samantha Coghlan (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa Acad.) tallied three ground balls. Freshman goalie
Adria Ostafi (Holmdel, NJ/Holmdel) made five saves in goal for Caldwell.
The Cougars host Philadelphia University in a CACC game Thursday, Apr. 10. The game starts at 12:00 p.m. at Centennial Field in Verona, N.J.
