Elmwood Park, N.J. – The Caldwell University bowling team competed in the second of three Northeast Conference meets, held at Parkway Lanes on Saturday and Sunday. All seven matches were scored using the Baker format, which are best-of-seven games, with each of the five team members, in order, bowling a complete frame until a complete (10-frame) game is bowled.
The Cougars lost all seven matches, but recorded their best Baker format game of 252 during the meet. That game saw Caldwell roll nine strikes and a spare, with just one open frame.
This is the first season for the Caldwell bowling team, which consists of seven freshmen. The inaugural team members are
Deborah Andrews (Lindenwold, NJ/Lindenwold),
Kellie Ehrmann (Monroe Twp., NJ/Monroe Twp.),
Vanessa Mantione (Matawan, NJ/Bishop Ahr),
Brigitte Murgado (Union City, NJ/Union City),
