Julie Crankshaw (Lanoka Harbor, NJ/Lacey Twp.) had two goals and an assist as the Caldwell College women's soccer team defeated Bloomfield College, 4-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up Wednesday night at Foley Field. The Cougars improve to 8-5-2 overall and 6-2-2 in the conference, while the Lady Deacons fall to 5-8-1, 4-4-1 CACC. Details to follow.

Natalie Migoya (Lincoln Park, NJ/Morris Catholic) gave Caldwell an early lead with a goal off an assist from senior
Rebecca Stinger (Atco, NJ/Hammonton) in the seventh minute. The score remained 1-0 into the second half until Crankshaw found the net in the 57th minute. Junior midfielder
Ashlee Paknis (Little Egg Harbor, NJ/Pinelands Reg.) assisted on the goal. Then in the 64th minute, Crankshaw scored an unassisted goal, her team-leading eighth of the season, for a 3-0 Caldwell lead. She then assisted on Migoya's second goal of the game and fourth of the season to put the Cougars on top, 4-0. Mikie Bradley scored in the 82nd minute for Bloomfield.

Kylie Whalen (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) tallied five saves for the Cougars, who held a 21-11 advantage in shots. Sashagay Spence made nine saves and Diana Vincentini had three saves for the Lady Deacons
The Cougars host Georgian Court University in a key CACC game on Saturday, Oct. 26. Game time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Caldwell Field.
