Holy Family Shuts Out Caldwell in Women’s Soccer, 2-0

Box Score
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Caldwell College women's soccer team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game to Holy Family University, 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field. The Cougars fall to 7-5-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the conference, while the Tigers improve to 6-5-2, 5-1-2 CACC.

After a scoreless first half, Holy Family took a 1-0 lead a little over two minutes into the second half on a goal by Ursula Coyle. Then in the 61st minute, Madison Hudson headed home a cross from MaryKate Morris to put the Tigers on top, 2-0. The lead was put in jeopardy when a Holy Family player was ejected in the 72nd minute, forcing the Tigers to play with 10 players. Caldwell pushed to get back in the game, putting six shots on goal after the red card. But Sienna Smith kept the Cougars off the scoreboard to clinch the win.
