CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell College volleyball team defeated Felician College in three sets, 25-22, 25-18, 25-8 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Tuesday evening in the George R. Newman Center. The Cougars are now 11-9 overall and 8-2 in the conference following the win, while the Golden Falcons fall to 4-11, 4-7 CACC.
The first set remained close throughout, with neither team leading by more than three points. A kill by Olivia Emerson gave Felician a 21-20 lead, but two kills from freshman middle blocker
Taylor Kovach (Oregon, OH/Clay) and another from freshman outside hitter
Taylor Zaeske (S. Milwaukee, WI/S. Milwaukee) helped the Cougars close out the set, 25-22. Junior outside hitter
Athena Nestoras (Los Angeles, CA/St. Monica) had eight kills and a .571 hitting percentage in the first set.

Kasey Bausch (Bellmore, NY/Holy Trinity) delivered five kills in the 25-8 win.
Zaeske led all players with 16 kills, while Nestoras racked up 15 kills and 13 digs and hit .419 for the match. Freshman setter
Rachel Carpenter (Newark, OH/Newark) registered 40 assists and eight digs, and Del Cid finished with 20 digs. Emerson paced the Golden Falcons with eight kills.
