NYACK, N.Y. – The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match to Nyack College, 25-20, 17-25, 25-20, 25-14 Tuesday evening at Bowman Gym. The loss drops the Cougars to 9-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play, while the Warriors improve to 6-5 overall, 3-2 CACC.

Caldwell registered 93 digs for the match, but managed 37 kills compared to 47 for Nyack, who hit .355 in the fourth set. Freshman outside hitter Rachael DiLeonardo (Cincinnati, OH/Mount Notre Dame) recorded eight kills and 17 digs, while senior outside hitter Susan McDonough (Saline, MI/Saline) tallied seven kills and 20 digs. Sophomore libero Jaclyn Del Cid (Bogota, NJ/Bogota) paced the defense with 21 digs. Nyack's Moana Masaniai led all players with 17 kills.

The Cougars host Concordia College on Friday, Sept. 28, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.
