BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Caldwell College volleyball team swept Bloomfield College, 25-13, 25-11, 25-22, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Wednesday night at the Bloomfield Gymnasium. The win gives the Cougars a 7-6 record on the season, including a 1-1 mark in conference play. The Lady Deacons fall to 1-4, 0-2 CACC.

Freshman outside hitter Rachael DiLeonardo (Cincinnati, OH/Mount Notre Dame) had nine kills without an error in 17 attempts for a .529 hitting percentage. Senior outside hitter Susan McDonough (Saline, MI/Saline) tallied eight kills, while senior right side Amber Mosher (Flanders, NJ/Mount Olive) delivered seven kills and hit .429. Junior setter Lisa Roth (Gilbert, AZ/Williams Field) recorded 23 assists and eight digs. Bloomfield was led by Da'Cheray Thomas with nine kills.

Caldwell plays two matches at the Pace Tournament on Friday, Sept. 21, facing Texas A&M International and Franklin Pierce University in Pleasantville, N.Y.
