Caldwell Volleyball Falls to Georgian Court in Five Sets

Box Score JACKSON, N.J. – The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a five-set match to Georgian Court University, 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon at Jackson Memorial High School. The Cougars are now 19-13 overall and 12-6 in the conference, while the Lions improve to 15-15, 12-7 CACC.

Freshman outside hitter Rachael DiLeonardo (Cincinnati, OH/Mount Notre Dame) registered 14 kills and a .361 hitting percentage to lead Caldwell. Senior right side Amber Mosher (Flanders, NJ/Mount Olive) added 13 kills to go with three total blocks, and junior middle blocker Kasey Bausch (Bellmore, NY/Holy Trinity) recorded seven kills and four blocks. Junior setter Lisa Roth (Gilbert, AZ/Williams Field) paced the offense with 40 assists while also leading the defense with 15 digs. Anabel Barinas had 14 kills to lead Georgian Court.

Caldwell takes on Concordia College in the final regular-season match on Sunday, Nov. 4. The match starts at 10:00 a.m. in Bronxville, N.Y.
