COUGARS REMAIN UNBEATEN WITH 3-0 VICTORY AT POST

WATERBURY, Conn. - The Caldwell College volleyball team earned a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory on the road, beating Post University, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 Tuesday evening at the Drubner Center. The win keeps the Cougars unbeaten at 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference while also completing the season sweep of Post (1-11, 1-3 CACC).

Sophomore middle blocker Kasey Bausch (Bellmore, NY/Holy Trinity), left, had seven kills and a .308 hitting percentage to lead Caldwell. Junior outside hitter Susan McDonough (Saline, MI/Saline) also had seven kills to go with 10 digs, while senior setter Lauren Roth (Findlay, OH/Findlay) tallied 20 assists. Freshman Athena Nestoras (Los Angeles, CA/St. Monica) contributed four service aces. The defense was paced by junior libero Maddy Amon (Louisville, KY/Bishop Moore) with 19 digs, and Roth and sophomore middle blocker Becca Feczer (Findlay, OH/Findlay) with three blocks apiece. Belinda Snider led Post with 10 kills in a losing effort.

The Cougars return to action on Thursday, Sept. 22 with a CACC match at Felician College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Rutherford, N.J.
