CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team closed out its regular-season home schedule with a 3-0 sweep of Concordia College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Thursday night in the George R. Newman Center. The victory is the Cougars' eighth win in a row, giving them a 21-4 record on the season, including a 16-1 mark in the conference. The Clippers fall to 5-18, 5-12 CACC with the loss.

Caldwell got out to a fast start, hitting .452 with 15 kills in the first set. Junior outside hitter Susan McDonough (Saline, MI/Saline) put away seven kills in the 25-11 win. In the second set, McDonough and sophomore middle blocker Kasey Bausch (Bellmore, NY/Holy Trinity) each had three kills to help the Cougars hit .400 en route to a 25-16 victory. Caldwell broke open a 9-9 tie in the third set with five consecutive points to cruise to a 25-15 win and take the match. Senior outside hitter Brittany Denter (Detroit, MI/Kingsley) and junior right side Amber Mosher (Flanders, NJ/Mt. Olive) had four kills apiece, as the Cougars earned their fifth sweep in a row.

McDonough led all players with 13 kills while hitting .444 for the match. Lennon and Roth are four-year members of the team who have helped Caldwell win four CACC North Division titles, while all four seniors contributed to the Cougars' CACC Tournament championship in 2010.
