The score remained 0-0 until the 79th minute, when freshman midfielder Rebecca Stinger (Atco, NJ/Hammonton) beat a couple defenders and blasted a shot into the goal from 20 yards out for a 1-0 Caldwell lead. Six minutes later, freshman midfielder Julie Crankshaw (Lanoka Harbor, NJ/Lacey) ran onto a long punt from senior goalkeeper Lauren Hoenig (Howell, NJ/Howell), broke in alone on the goalkeeper and scored an insurance goal, her fifth of the season.
