CALDWELL VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT PHILADELPHIA U.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match to Philadelphia University, 30-10, 30-19, 30-12 Saturday afternoon at the Rams' Athletic and Recreation Center. With the loss, the Cougars are now 1-16 overall and 1-6 in the conference, while the Rams improve to 11-9, 5-0 CACC.

Freshman outside hitter Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) led the Cougars with seven kills, while fellow freshman Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) had six kills and a team-best nine digs. Philadelphia's Emily Krauss had 16 kills and Lauren Hoover dished out 35 assists in the win.

The Cougars host Dominican College in a CACC match on Thursday, Oct. 4. The first serve is set for 7:00 p.m. at the George R. Newman Center.
