PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College women's soccer team lost its opening match of the 2007 season, 2-0 to Philadelphia University Saturday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at Ravenhill Field. The Rams, who are the defending CACC Tournament champions, improve to 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Cougars start the season 0-1.
	
	Brianna Reinford opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a header that found the net for her first goal of the season. Amanda Tagland made it 2-0 with a goal in the 24th minute. Melissa McMullen assisted on both goals for the Rams.
	
	Freshman goalkeeper Lauren Hoenig (Howell, NJ/Howell) made five saves in her collegiate debut for the Cougars. Sara Hall made two saves for Philadelphia, combining with Kristen Mauro for the shutout.
	
	Caldwell plays its first home game of the 2007 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 8 against C.W. Post. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
