WILMINGTON, Del. - The inaugural season for the Caldwell College volleyball season has come to an end, as the Cougars lost to Goldey-Beacom College, 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game Saturday afternoon at the Jones Center. Caldwell ends their first year of intercollegiate competition 0-17 overall and 0-16 in the conference, while the Lightning improves to 13-11, 12-4 CACC.
	
	The Cougars, who lost the three games 30-10, 30-13 and 30-13, were led by senior Amy Ransom (Chattanooga, TN/Notre Dame) with five kills and eight digs. Sophomore Laura DeVico (Hackensack, NJ/hackensack) tallied 11 digs on defense. Goldey-Beacom was led by Ashley Carberry's 16 kills and Danielle Hicks' 39 assists. The Lightning turned in a hitting percentage of .419.
	
	Caldwell re-started its intercollegiate volleyball program this fall after a 15-year hiatus.
