George R. Newman Center

The George R. Newman Recreation and Athletic Center serves as the home of the Cougar men's and women's basketball teams, women's volleyball team and the women's acrobatics and tumbling team.

Officially opened in August of 2002, this 60,000-square foot facility features an 1,800-seat arena, eight locker rooms, suspended track, meeting rooms, Athletic Department offices and the Athletics Hall of Fame and Welcome Center. The Newman Center also features a fitness center, featuring a full line of cardiovascular and strength training equipment.

In 2018, the basketball court was dedicated as Mark A. Corino Court in honor of its long-time men's basketball coach.
