Tom Tonkovich joined his older brother, Brian at Caldwell in 1996, and now he becomes the second Tonkovich brother to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The program’s all-time leading rebounder with 1,049 rebounds, Tom Tonkovich also holds the school record for career field goal percentage (.665). He was an important part of the Cougars’ CACC championships in 1998 and 1999, earning All-American honorable mention in 1999 after leading the NAIA in field goal percentage. His 1,489 career points rank fifth on Caldwell’s all-time scoring list.

“Playing with my older brother for two years and my younger brother Paul for one was a memorable experience, something we’ll talk about forever,” Tonkovich said. “We’ll look back for many years and say what a great experience it was.”

A financial advisor at Wells Fargo, Tonkovich resides in his hometown of Point Pleasant, N.J., with his wife Gabrielle.
