Miguel Walker came to Caldwell in 2003 after representing the prestigious Wolmers’ Boys School in Jamaica’s national high school tournament and quickly became the heart and soul of some of the Cougars’ best soccer teams. A crafty ball-winner and central midfielder, Walker received all-CACC honors twice while serving as the team captain for two seasons. Caldwell made the CACC Tournament semifinals all four of Walker’s years, advancing to the finals in 2003 and 2005. Miguel was a two-time recipient of the Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar award and a two-time member of the Academic all-District and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference all-Academic teams. He was also active in student government and the International Student Organization, for which he served as president.

“I truly enjoyed my time at Caldwell. I had the opportunity to play alongside talented players from all over the world and be a part of a community that cared about my athletic, personal and professional development.”

Miguel is currently an Associate at Barclays within the Investment Banking Division’s Financial Institutions Group and resides in Brooklyn, NY.
