Ed Elam attended St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, NJ before attending Caldwell University. He led the prep school to their first state championship in 20 years. Elam brought that same winning spirit to Caldwell University. Caldwell University won three regular season CACC titles and had two national tournament appearances during Elam’s four years. Elam was a three year starter for the Cougars. Always providing tough defense but improving his offense production each season, Elam capped his career off by earning all CACC tournament team honors his senior season, as Caldwell earned their second CACC tournament championship during his career. Elam finished his career with 1,197 points, 350 assist and 238 steals.
“The team chemistry that we had while I played was amazing. I believe we accomplished so much because we cared for each other and truly trusted one another. Most of us are still good friends to this day”
Ed and his wife Taniesha recently relocated to Pennsylvania. They reside in Forks Township with their daughter, Savannah Rose and son Edward Byron. Ed has worked as an IT/Telecom Specialist for the last eighteen years. He is also a five year veteran on the Federal Reserve Police Department.
