Caldwell University is greatly saddened to announce that rising women's soccer senior Stephanie Faust of Grundy Center, Iowa, passed away last week.

"The university family extends its support, prayers, and love to Stephanie's family and loved ones," said Caldwell President Nancy Blattner.  

Stephanie touched many lives at Caldwell University. She was a talented athlete and student with a keen intellect, kind manner and beautiful spirit. Stephanie was named one of the captains of the women's soccer team, was studying health science, and was accepted into the university nursing program. She was a source of joy and beauty for her teammates and all those with whom she came in contact. She will be greatly missed.

Caldwell University will honor the life of Stephanie at a date when the student and faculty body returns to campus for the fall semester.
